Praise God!!.
hey ya all! =) thanks for all your comments. hehehe. last blog actually posted a comment saying that i'm not too sure who reads all my blogging. but thank you to those who do... hehehe. do realise that i post my blogs only like once a month or once in 2 months... hahaha. not much happening lately ma... either that or i forgot to. =P thank you, loyal supporters =) i'll try to update my blog more often. =)

anyways, yes. praise God!

was at church service on saturday. it was just like any other service i attend every week. then came the call for any one who wishes to receive Jesus into their lives. later on those who responded would walk down to the front where we'll all pray for them and later their details will be taken down so that we can keep in touch with them.

and there it happened. saw this girl walking down to the front and i found her familiar. not too sure if i got the wrong person. then she walked and stood in front of me (i was sitting at the first row) and i watched her mouth her name to a "consolidator". and when i approached her, she recognised me straight away! this is so cool! she asked me "is this your first time here too? how long have you been here?" i replied, almost bursting out in tears of joy "i've been here 3 years!"

this is so cool man! well, she's my secondary school classmate. we used to be in this group and we hung out pretty often but after the 'O' levels, we all went our seperate ways. those who went to poly were still pretty close knit. but those who went to jc were all scattered... not to mention later on that we all went to different universities.

yeah!! well, haven't prayed for her before... coz i guess we all lost touch... but woohoo! praise God! now both of us can attend church together. =) happening man. =) and maybe we can start asking our secondary school gang to church. =) so cool!!! so exciting!!! =) praise God that He loves all of us so much... each and every single being who's living on the surface of this earth. =)

thank You Lord, for Your love.
"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever..." Psalm 136:1

a moment of grace indeed. =)

Closing Down.
you won't believe this. this is the 2nd time i am typing this post coz the first one got wiped out when i posted it. i'm not sure what happened also.

anyways, remember the time i told you guys about touchkidz? where there're all the little kiddies? i was serving at the youth service slot, which is on saturdays at 5pm. it was set up in july last year but now it's closing down. it's closing down coz there're not enough children! well, being the slot for the youth service would explain that. but there're a lot of parents who bring their kids to service... they're just not leaving their kids at touchkidz.

only that slot is closing down... other slots at other timings are still up. well, consider other slots? did think about it, but that would also collide with other things that i'm committed to. *sigh* so this is it, i'll be leaving touchkidz.

well, my pastor did explain why things turned out this way and the plans that they have to make this work the next time. he's actually meeting up with some of the parents who attends the youth service, and working out how there can be a group of people to meet their needs, and if they wanted this at all. oh well, guess it's a chicken and egg problem. which comes first? have a team of people who're available to help take care of kids? or have people who want to put their kids with caretakers while they attend service?

all in all, learnt a lot of things while i was there for the 6-7 months... learnt how to handle little children... learn how to see the up sides when things look down (like when toys are broken... hahaha... that's a super down for a kid)... learn how to encourage these kids not to give up but learn to be more patient with others, as well as themselves (especially when they do colouring... sometimes they'd have to colour the sky but give up coz there's too much to colour and they have to keep sharpening their colour pencils)... learn how to speak my point... hahah though that's rather easy with children... coz the things that they usually get themselves into is quite easy to teach... like fighting over who goes first on the slide... and not to scold other people stupid... to greet people they meet... and stuff like that...

enjoyable. =)

and of course, there's the occassional weird and naughty behaviours from them... but hey, that's absolutely ok... many adults behave worse.

don't know why... i like little kiddies... coz when i see them i see something... that something is called "hope". important note: i'm not saying that adults are hopeless... just that there's so much newness, so much ahead of a child, so many plans to be accomplished, so many...

and i'm sure that little kiddies feel the same. they have many many hopes... many many dreams... but somehow when they grow older, these hopes are dashed and these dreams are forgotten. sad, really... hmmm... i remember saying that i wanted to become a doctor when i was younger... coz i wanted to heal a lot of people... well, that's still possible now =) hey.... =) think about it. =)
