heyieeee... feeling so excited today. of course, it's because i'm back at work from a long, well-rested holiday! really needed that and now i can concentrate much better at work!! ah... feels so good to be productive.

friday was fab. had an early night and woke up real early at 5 plus on saturday. it's great to be up when the skies are still dark and slowly watching the day break. haven't seen that happening in the longest time. but PTL! praise Him for His faithfulness and love that's renewed every single morning. visual effects of turning darkness into day. =) always thought i was nocturnal... until i started working and now, i think i'm more of a morning person.... which is great!! totally love it. =)

on saturday it was SOW... which stands for step out into the wilderness. wahaha. weeee!! it was sa12's lil' retreat. we watched two videos... and they're really great. the one by rick warren was the best! more on that on another post. hehe. then there was tea with grandma... nice... =)

and sunday, i was off to muar!! with SA and JL. it was such a restful time there. very peaceful sleep and i think the sleep i had was really deep. i've not entered such a deep sleep for the longest time and i can feel it. funny how you know how deep a sleep you enter... but yes... i could feel it. i think the last time i had such good sleep was in korea. good time there of reflection and rest... and i managed to finish a book! i read kinda slowly so i'm really glad i finished a book and can remember the gist of it. read this book by elisabeth elliot called 'let me be a woman'. it's a collection of letters she wrote to her daughter before she got married. it's so good. so full of truth and wisdom. and yes, more on that on yet another post. haha.

ate a lot at muar too!! malaysia's food is always better than singapore's. don't ask me why. it just tastes better. hehehe. yummy... tasty... and God was so good! it rained the 2 days we were there but the rain always came only when we were indoors. the haze wasn't too bad too coz of the rain.

so we were back on monday late night and tuesday was another exciting day. there was SOW somemore!! weeee!! though i was only there for like 2hrs to play guitar, i had fun. hehe. =) we played this game called sardines. lol! it's funny. and at night, went for the first trip meeting to shanghai. see a lot of unfamiliar faces... which is a good thing. i generally don't enjoy socialising... but i still feel excited. =) excited to learn from one another, excited to work with one another.

such a cool holiday break. enjoy it so much and many praises to God!! i believe i enjoyed the holiday so much because His hands were upon it and i give thanks for the answered prayers and His presence with me. touched.
