heyeee... cny is finally coming.. from the last post i put up, i've not been to shopping yet. haha. well, maybe a little.. i bought the rest of the things that i need for the coming cny.. and now, i'm just left with the groceries to tide me over the festive season. =)

my, my.. it has been another busy month... with hardly any time to sleep... my usual sleeping hours for the past 3 weeks is 5-6 hours... my... it's tough man.. and as i'm typing this, i'm trying real hard to stay awake. and the next one week isn't seeing any much more hours of sleep..

but i must admit that the past few weeks has been very fruitful... no regrets for the tiredness.. =)

first there was santification week... that was cool.. it's always cool when God speaks and when the Holy Spirit touches you. shared my testimony during the leader's meeting the following wednesday and i can't believe i burst out crying. ha.. how embarassing but thanks be to God that many were encouraged. well, here's my testimony..

as some of you may know.. i'm not very close to my mum.. well, coz she has been real strict with me when i was young and i was afraid to tell her things, good things and bad alike, so that i won't get scolded or put down. and during the 2nd day of sanctification week, i responded to the altar call.. calling all those who desire to come closer to the Lord. so i was there... on my knees... and waiting... then pastor julie took over the mic to stand on behalf of all mums to ask for forgiveness. she did so coz she felt that many times we've been asking for healing from our dads.. but sometimes it is the mums too who have unknowingly hurt us. i was actually expecting to cry... but when i didn't, i was glad. i was glad coz i thought that this area in my life is finally healed. but as i walked back to my seat, i stood along the aisle to continue to worship. just then, i noticed two men hugging one another and i thought how cute.. haha. yes, funny thought but i did think they were cute coz one guy was much bigger than the other... and you know how a smaller person hugging a bigger person looks. and pastor julie was sitting right beside the pair.. she turned and tapped the smaller man's shoulder to ask "are you alright?" when i saw that, i wept.. just suddenly felt a deep longing for a mother's love which seems so lost and can never be redeemed. but just then the Lord said that He wants to restore this area of my life and he wants to restore this relationship i share with my mum. praise be th God. =)

so that's sanctification week... the most impactful moment.

then there came the following week where i met a dear friend G... and JC of course.. the whole bunch of corny, easily tickled bunch of girls.. and their partners.. =) so nice to see G again and hear that she is expecting!.. again. =) my hub and i cooked dinner.. wow.. it was such a challenge coz we were rushing everything... phew.. thank God the food was good. =P wanna hear the menu?

appetisers: tuna and crackers
starters: mushroom soup and baguette
main course: chicken (we bought this one. haha.), pasta and salad
dessert: grapes

yummy! did i tell you i love my hub's cooking? his pasta is simply yummilicious

and the session that really tired me out was my cousin's wedding.. phew... good food... yum... it's cruel, but i love shark's fin. hahaha. and i mean the real thing. =P

following that was taking a day off to spend with a friend who flew all the way from UK!! another dear dear friend.. doctor AL. hehe. =) had a fun time shopping and catching up... trying to beat her to the cashier. she left yesterday... and man.. do i already miss her. miss the times we spent as housemates.

coming up is reunion meals with my family and my in-laws... and visitings and giving out of ang baos... have i mentioned that already? =)

but anyway.. am so looking forward to the break... company's close tomorrow and opens only half day on wednesday. haha! so yessssss... praying that i get to catch up on some sleep.
