God is at it again... i just recovered from bronchitis and today 2 colleagues walked past me coughin. colleague A has been having this horrid, phlegmy cough for like a week... and she was coughing past me. colleague B came over to chit chat and told me her doctor told her she has a throat/lung infection...
-.-"
so i really hope that my cough doesn't come back.. eeks. thanks to all those who've been praying for me.
baby ethan has been really active lately. his grandparents prefer to call him naughty. he has been doing all kinds of acrobatics inside my tummy... sommersaults and what have you. and have i mentioned that he is getting a lot stronger now? and he kicks my ribs... hahaha. so cute. but painful.... zzz... i'm 6.5 months now. can't imagine how strong and big he's gonna get as delivery day approaches
and now, more pregnancy inconveniences... my feet are start to swell. it's called water retention. help help!! my left foot is swelling more than my right. which makes my feet look weird, not to mention not fit my shoes properly. i hope i don't look too bloated.
saw my colleague today who came back from maternity leave. my, she looks good. she lost so much weight! inspiration man. whereas heard from my another colleague that yet another from another office that returned to work still looks like she's pregnant. she dropped by my office the other day to see me but sadly i was in another office. she asked my department people how big i was and they actually told her that she looked no different from me!!! oh dear oh dear... she must be feeling really lousy now. oh well... i hope she doesn't get to see me... just in case she feels worse...
my pregnancy has been the talk of the town of late. can't escape it. kinda like it... but it's not so pleasant when people start giving you unwanted advices or make bad comments. i used to get very anxious and worked up over what they say... but now i just take it with a pinch of salt. i just listen to my doctor. if my doctor says i'm good, i'm good! maybe this is God's way of training me. to learn to trust in Him and rest in Him. it's like, what can i do right even if something goes wrong.... only He is in control.
pram and cot gets delivered tomoro. woohoo!! can't wait to see it and do more baby stuff shopping. tonight hubby's guys will be helping us move some furniture. i wonder how my place is gonna look like from tomoro onwards... our place will definitely look more crammed... but i feel so excited as hubby and i prepare for arrival of baby.. i think the reality of baby ethan has not really hit me till recently...
God is so good. He has provided so much. even the pram and cot, i got a special bonus from work this month. and all went to buying the pram and cot (so you can imagine how expensive those things are). i really hope that one day i can truly know what it is to fully put your trust in the Lord and commit your worries to Him.
