Sigh. Many baby woes.

(1) Reflux

Drinking milk now becomes painful because of it. Because the valve that connects between the esophagus and stomach is not formed properly, each time he burps, the acid will travel up the esophagus and burn his throat.

(2) Teething

He has been biting quite a bit. Particularly his fingers. Tried giving him teething rings but he seems confused how to use it. I think it's really painful cutting teeth and sometimes he just cries and cries. Sucking at the breast or bottle worsens the pain at times.

(3) Eczema

Sensitive skin. Most of his skin around his joints and fold are usually red. Whenever we apply cream on those areas, he squirms. I guess that's painful

(4) Loss of appetite

Because of the reflux, coz it's painful and because of teething, coz it's painful too.

(5) Frustration.

Which leads to him scratching his head and sometimes he scratches so hard it bleeds.

(6) Left eye not focusing well

Seen the pedi on Sat and he says his left eye drifts more toward his nose instead of being in the centre. So he recommended us a baby eye specialist. $$$ again.

(7) Infant care accidentally billed me twice.

Now I have to settle this with them. Can't people get things right? I've got enough things to worry abt.

 

Sigh. when will this end? It's torturous feeding him. and if he doesn't eat, he won't grow. it's so worrying. And I'm so tired. It's a battle to feed him. Because it takes so long to feed him and I get so tired, it short changes him on play time and possibly brain development.

So worrying.
